Here at Redcurrent, we're quite partial to a cheeky Friday drink or cocktail with our gorgeous Glassware!
However, we also love enjoying a delicious mocktail too. This Dry July, we wanted to share our a few of our favourite non-alcoholic drink recipes for those going dry this July. Mint Julep
Ingredients:
- 1/4 cup of water
- 1/4 cup of white sugar
- 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh mint leaves
- 2 cups crushed ice
- 1/2 cup real lemonade
- Fresh mint sprigs & cucumber for garnish (optional)
Method:
In a small saucepan combine the water, sugar and chipped mint. Stir and bring to a boil. Cook until sugar has dissolved then remove from heat and set aside to cool. After about an hour, strain out the mint leaves.
Fill 2 cups with crushed ice. Pour 1/2 cup of lemonade into each glass and top with a splash of the prepared sugar syrup. Garnish each with a mint sprig, some cucumber and enjoy!
'Tequila' Sunrise
Ingredients:
-1/2 cup pulp-free orange juice
-1/3 cup peach juice
-1/8 cup Your choice of lemon soda
-1/8 cup grenadine
-ice
-Cherries and oranges to garnish (optional)
Method:
Add the ice, orange juice, peach juice, lemon soda then lastly the grenadine syrup. The grenadine will go to the bottom of the glass then rise to the top as you drink it. Garnish with cherries and oranges.
Pink Lemonade Punch
Ingredients:
-1 48 oz. can DOLE Pineapple Juice
-1 cup Pink Lemonade Mix
-1 2 liter Sprite bottle
-Oranges and limes to garnish (optional)
Method:
Add pineapple juice and lemonade mix to a large pitcher. Before serving, add sprite and mix.
